I bought this because it scored highest on Consumer Reports rankings of folding treadmills. They didn't pick it as a best buy because they bought it for 1500 and the next best was 1300. Well amazon sells this one for 1300. I've had it for almost a year and have yet to have any mechanical problems (I like to wait and see if it breaks down before reviewing it). What I like best about it is that you can change the angle you are going and burn as many calories walking uphill as running level. I don't like that there isn't a book or computer holder in front of you, so I just built a shelf on the wall in front of it and put my laptop on the shelf and watch hulu or netflix while running. I think it is a great product and anyone looking to get some exercise in the privacy of their own home should consider it. I've even thought about getting rid of my couch and putting it in the living room so no one can sit around anymore. -- Best buy
First, I want to commend CEVA, the shipping company who delivered my treadmill. The guys were scheduled between 4 and 7pm, and called me at 3:30 to ask what time was best for me. I stated 4pm, and they were there precisely at 4. They were courteous, professional and efficient, and they were careful not to scar my walls or floors as they brought it in. I simply could not have been happier. Bravo CEVA!!!!

Second, I love this treadmill. It took me a about an hour and a half to set it up, but I am female and was trying to do it alone. I had to call for backup to get the heavy end of the the machine (the motor end) where I wanted it on the mat, but aside from that setup was a snap. The parts fit together logically (imagine that!), and everything (including tools) were included. They even give you a bottle of lube to get you started with maintenance of the machine. Go for it! You'll love it.

I really enjoy using this treadmill. The assembly was easy. It is very easy to operate. It folds upward to give you extra room for yoga, stretching, etc. The look of the machine is very impressive, but not intimidating! This Christmas, members of my family who are normally "couch potatos" used it, including my 78 year old mother who walked 10 MINUTES on the machine and loved it!

I recently discovered that CONSUMER REPORT gave the FOLDING BOWFLEX SERIES 7 TREADMILL it's HIGHEST RATING!!! Unknowingly, I made the best choice, and so will you if you purchase this item!

I've being using this machine for 15 months and, so far it has performed flawlessly. It is easy to use: turn it on, confirm your weight, confirm the default program (P1), enter the time and hit start. After that, the speed and incline can be change on the fly. The assembly was simple, but I strongly suggest using a real screwdriver (instead of the tool provided) since the bolts are sort of soft and it's possible to strip the bold head. On the con side, the manual is poorly written: 1. the programs are hardly explained, and 2. it does not explain how to lubricate the belt. -- Great machine
